#1 The Brothers Bloom. Directed and written by: Rian Johnson. Great film. Taking an approach from a caper and love story. My favorite part of the film is really the theme behind it. Truly life is what you make of it. No one has a wonderful, perfect upbringing. But to be happy in the long run, a person must overcome that obstacle and shape the life they want to have.

#2 (500) Days of Summer. Joseph Gordon-Levitt has come a long way from 3rd Rock for the Sun. My favorite Romantic Comedy. Period. Great cast, awesome director, fantastic script and a solid soundtrack. For the first time director, Marc Webb, his work was on point. I loved the shots he used in the movie including Tom's sequence of reality verses expectations.
Bottom Line: Go see them! (500) Days of Summer is out in limited release, but the numbers of theaters are growing. The Brothers Bloom is out of theaters but make sure you bump the selection to the top of your list on your Netflix's account.
